About Us
Dublin based digital publishing house, Mediaspace, today re-launched online music magazine www.muse.ie, and announced several key partnerships and appointments.
Muse.ie is now Ireland's only free music news website.
Muse.ie also features several innovative features allowing website users to contribute their own music, dvd ,and gig reviews, as well as add their favourite gig listings to the website. Users can also upload unlimited videos to the website, and a photo gallery facility will be launching shortly.
Two key partnerships have been announced, allowing bands to create their own digital download stores on the site, and allowing site users upload and share their favourite videos.
London based 7Digital will power Muse.ie's 'indiestore' facility, which empowers independent artists and labels to sell their music online. Once bands and artists have created their indiestore, a customised widget appears on their Muse.ie profile page, allowing users to listen to and buy tracks via the widget. Sales are tracked and include chart eligibility in 20+ countries.
San Fransisco based Videoegg have partnered with Muse.ie to allow every user upload and share their favourite videos online. Videos can be uploaded easily from the users computer, video camera, webcam, or mobile phone. Videoegg's global partners include social networking websites Bebo and Hi5.
"This relaunch is the culmination of five months intensive development and investment, and we will be announcing site enhancements and partnerships on a fortnightly basis," says Mediaspace Director, Hugh Durkin. "Our breaking news service will ensure music fans across Ireland and beyond will be provided with an unrivalled service, as well as innovative networking features to help emerging acts promote and sell their music online. We're helping bands, music lovers, and venues to interact in a fresh, fun and exciting way - it's looking good."
