Surprise result in Choice Music Prize
Super Extra Bonus Party were the shock winners of the Choice Music Prize - Irish Album of the Year 2007 for the album Super Extra Bonus Party.
The band were an outside bet to pick up the award with Cathy Davey widely recognised as the favourite to walk away with the prize of €10,000 and a specially-commissioned award.
The prize was voted for by a 12 strong jury panel of Irish music media professionals.
