The Aftermath have confirmed a double headliner with New York band Arckid in Whelan's later this month.

The two bands will air their wares in the Wexford Street venue on June 27.

And the presence of Arckid could mean a few celebrities will also be present.

Frontman Royston Langton is married to actress Liv Tyler while the band's last video was directed by Joaquin Phoenix.

They also count R.E.M's Michael Stipe and fashion designer Stella McCartney as fans.

It could be a famous night in Whelan's.
