What can I say.... Actually I can say nothing!! No words can describe it. One of the best gigs of my life! From the word go the band and the fans were on fire! The mosh pit whipped into a frenzy and it remained that way until the last note of the encore. The opening chord of each song played was met with a roar of triumph from the crowd and then deafening screams of each word sung all with gusto. From the pit rose a lingering cloud of fine mist that reminded me of the dew one would expect to see on a cold winter's morning... strange that something can remind you of something that is the complete opposite of what it actually is! As I scanned the room all I could see were faces reflecting utter joy at what they were witnessing, a look I'm sure was reflected on mine also. Afterwards as the crowd spilled out into the welcoming cool November air, a chant started to make it's way through the crowd... the haunting call that can be heard in Knocked Up, the opening track for the band's new album. On and on it went, sweaping through the people and before long the whole crowd was singing along. It was just one of those moments that you know you will not forget for a long time... Comments
